President of HKBUAA of British Columbia Visits HKBU

On 29 November, President of HKBUAA of British Columbia alumnus Samuel Chan, accompanied by Dr. Kenneth Fung from The University of British Columbia, paid a visit to HKBU campus during their stay in Hong Kong and met President Prof. Roland Chin, Associate Vice President (Chinese Medicine Development) Prof. Bian Zhaoxiang and HKBU representatives.

Alumni Teams Support the “HKBU • Tibet 5100 Golf Day 2017”

The “HKBU • Tibet 5100 Golf Day 2017” was held on 3 November at the Eden Course of The Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. This year, a total of 4 alumni teams participated as Gold Sponsors and 6 alumni teams participated as Silver Sponsors. Details are as follows:

Gold Sponsors:

After rounds of keen competitions, “Sports Elite”, the team led by alumnus Dr. William Leung, won the Alumni Cup while alumnus Nelson Lam from “Baptist Chemists” scooped the second runner-up in Putting Competition.

Reunion of MBA Class 2007 Graduates

To celebrate their 10th graduation anniversary, graduates of Class 2007 of MBA programme organised a reunion gathering and paid a campus visit on 4 November. Attracting a total of 20 alumni and their family members with some of them coming from the Mainland and overseas to join the event.

The group first toured around Ho Sin Hang Campus and Shaw Campus, followed by a visit to the HKBU History Gallery and a tea reception where they were able to meet their former teachers Prof. Gordon Tang, Director of Student Affairs and Dr. Davy Wu, Senior Lecturer of School of Business. A tailor-made music video with photos of alumni was shown, recalling their fond memories of university lives and reminiscing the good old days at HKBU. The visit ended with a dinner at Bistro Bon.
