Interdisciplinary Knowledge Transfer Partnership project:
Community Cookbook Collaboration for Holistic Cancer Care(『分甘同味』)
In line with HKBU’s 60th anniversary celebration “Whole Person Education for a Better World” 『育全人 惠全民』, an interdisciplinary Knowledge Transfer Partnership project titled 『分甘同味』: Community Cookbook Collaboration for Holistic Cancer Care will be launched in summer 2016. In this community project, a bilingual cookbook with real-life stories and recipes will be produced through the collaborative effort between the School of Communication, the School of Chinese Medicine and Hong Kong Cancer Fund.
We are seeking inspiring stories from our alumni to contribute their cancer fighting journeys. We welcome any HKBU survivors, caregivers or supporters for friends and colleagues who are/were stricken by cancer.
Please contact Dr. Angela Mak, Principal Investigator and Associate Professor in the School of Communication at angelamak@hkbu.edu.hk if you would like to find out more about how you may contribute – a true labour of love for everyone involved. |
