A seminar and a Bloomberg training session for financial analysts organised by HKBU School of Business Alumni Association were held and well-attended by over 60 students.
In the seminar on 6 October 2014, alumnus Alex Hon and Alan Yip, who are currently working in Core Pacific-Yamaichi International (H.K.) Limited, introduced different job categories in financial industry, the job nature of financial analysts and the requirements for being a financial analyst. To give students a better understanding of the Bloomberg terminal, a training session was conducted on 8 October 2014, whereby experienced trainer from Bloomberg provided hands-on training on the applications of Bloomberg terminal. |
