Alumnus Professor Sunny Wong Shares His Business Strategies and Insights in an Interview
Alumnus Professor Sunny Wong (Business Management), Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Foundation Alumni Committee Chairman and HKBU Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, was recently interviewed by Guan Dian (《觀點》), which carries news about the Boao Real Estate Forum (博鰲房地產論壇) in China. During the interview, Prof Wong shared his strategies and insights in driving business growth of the brand name products under Tibet Water Resources Limited in China.

Facilitated by alumnus Philip Kan (Business Management), member of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Foundation Alumni Committee and Director of Donvex Asia Capital Limited, Dr Angus Young, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Accountancy and Law of HKBU, spoke at one of the webinars organised by Institute of Compliance Officers, Institute of Certified Finance and Responsible Officers and Hong Kong Association of Financial Advisors, on the topic of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) risks on 14 July.

Alumnus Kenneth Lau Supports Fund-raising Campaign for Alumnus Chan Hung’s Free Tutorial Service
Alumnus Chan Hung (China Studies; Education Studies), Hong Kong Baptist University Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, is the Founder of Principal Chan Free Tutorial World. In celebration of its 10th Anniversary, a series of online concerts would be held every month, to help raise funds for its free online tutorial service. Alumnus Kenneth Lau (Communication) has been appointed Fundraising Ambassador of this event. A total of 10 online concerts will be held, each featuring a celebrity guest performer. The second concert was held on 20 July, featuring Linda Wong Hing-ping, a celebrity singer in Hong Kong.

Alumnus Gordon Lee Provides Career Advice to Students
Alumnus Gordon Lee (Business Administration), Partner of Deloitte, Audit & Assurance, was invited as one of the guest participants of the Career Consultation by Professionals, a one-to-one online consultation service to students organised by the Career Centre of the University. During the consultation sessions held respectively on 20 May and 27 May, alumnus Lee provided individual career advice to students who are keen to join the auditing profession.

Alumna Gallie Ng Shares Her Expertise with Students
On 14 April, digital solutions expert alumna Gallie Ng (Business Administration), President of HKBUAA - China Business Studies & Marketing Alumni Association, was invited by the Department of Marketing to return to her alma mater to deliver a talk entitled From digital marketing to growth hacking. Whether attending the talk in person or online, students from the MSc in Global Marketing Management Programme enjoyed the talk and have benefitted a lot from the insightful sharing by alumna Ng.
