To strengthen ties with alumni and to express the University’s appreciation for the staunch support from alumni over the years, Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted a luncheon for Past Presidents and members of the Management Committee of Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association (HKBUAA) on 15 July.
At the luncheon, President Wai shared with alumni the latest developments of the University including the good news that HKBU has been selected by the HKSAR Government to operate Hong Kong’s first Chinese Medicine Hospital. Accompanied by several Past Presidents, HKBUAA President alumnus Tyrone Siu (History) expressed his gratitude to President Wai by presenting him a souvenir. Participants of the luncheon took the opportunity to exchange their views about the University’s future development, and they all had a joyful time at the luncheon.
