Zabrina Lo (English Language and Literature), Tatler Hong Kong’s Associate Features Editor, published her first cover story in July. In the cover story, she explores what it means for Hong Kong Ballet Artistic Director Septime Webre to put on a world premiere when the global performing arts industry is struggling in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Webre’s adaptation of the ballet classic Romeo and Juliet proves to be more than just another brand-new show. As Lo reveals in the story, the show is regarded as a Hong Kong love story produced with the best cultural and artistic legacies combined – being Wong Kar-wai-inspired, background set in the golden era of 1960s and also featuring kungfu choreography.
