Updates on HKBU Alumni Association Overseas
 
HKBU Alumni Association of Australia Holds an Outing for Vivid Sydney

HKBU Alumni Association of Australia organised a dinner gathering with the presence of alumni Sidney Cheng and his wife, Lawrence Chan and his wife, Clara Cheng, Augustus Ho, Henie Chu and her husband, Richard Lam and Mabel Lam, Leung Ting Chun and Leung Chan Bun Yee, Elaine Ip and her husband in Circular Quay, Sydney on 2 June. After the dinner, the group went for an outing to Sydney Opera House to enjoy the music and lights of “Vivid Sydney”, an annual outdoor lighting festival with immersive light installations and projections.

HKBU Alumni Association of Ontario Extends Hospitality to HKBU Interns

On 5 July, HKBU Alumni Association of Ontario held a dinner gathering with eight summer interns from HKBU, who were working in different organisations to experience how it is like working in Canada. At the dinner, representatives of the Association shared with their junior fellows from the alma mater their wisdom and experience.

HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai Participates in HKSAR 20th Anniversary Celebration

On 24 June, HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai (HKBUSHAA) joined hands with other organisations in Shanghai to participate in the activities celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland, including an assemblage of 15,000 pins to create the largest art piece in Guinness World Records.

On the other hand, President of HKBUSHAA alumnus Yee Lam (Communication) and Vice President alumnus Gilman Too (Communication) met with HKBU Vice President (Teaching and Learning) Dr. Albert Chau and Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Melanie Lee in July to share the latest updates and development of HKBUSHAA.
