HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association Hosts Dinner for Retired Professor
 
On 18 June, HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association organised a retirement dinner for Associate Dean of School of Business Prof. Allan Chan.

Held in Guangzhou, the dinner was attended by over 20 alumni and guests with the presence of Prof. and Mrs. Allan Chan, faculty members of School of Business including Dr. Li Yuen Wah, Prof. Shi Yizheng and Ms. Michelle Chu at the dinner. Different generations of MBA alumni including Chairman of the Alumni Association alumnus Zhao Yongshuang, Honorary Chairman alumni Bi Guimei, Luo Gang and Zhang Jianming, former committee members alumni Huang Haizhi and Ren Jun, Deputy Chairman alumnus Huang Wo, Secretary-General alumna Sandy Xiao as well as representatives from Shenzhen chapter, East China chapter and Zhuhai chapter of the Alumni Association also came to bid farewell to Prof. Chan.

During the dinner, Chairman Zhao thanked Prof. Chan for his vision of launching MBA programme in Mainland China. He was particularly grateful for the support Prof. Chan has given to the development of the Alumni Association over the years. When delivering his remarks, Prof. Chan reviewed his past 29 years in HKBU witnessing the remarkable development of MBA programme in Mainland China. He also emphasised that the strong alumni network formed was an invaluable asset of the School of Business.
