The Corporate Governance & Directorship (HKBU) Society Visits the Koon Chun Hing Kee Soy & Sauce Factory
The Society organised a visit to Koon Chun Hing Kee Soy & Sauce Factory on 17 June. Around 20 alumni attended. Representatives of the Factory explained to participants the marketing strategy and quality control guidelines of the company, and also showed participants how soy sauce was made. |

China Studies Alumni Association - Guangxi Visit of "China Studies School of Hope"
Led by China Studies Alumni Association, a group of 16 alumni and students visited "China Studies School of Hope", located in Hezhou, Guangxi for continuous service trip from 25 to 28 May. To enrich the study program for rural children, the Association created a variety of lessons including music, sciences and physical education. In addition, the participants visited impoverished families and donated articles for their daily use.
The Association has also set up a scholarship, funded by the proceeds of students’ charity sales activities, to support the development of continuous education for rural children in the Mainland.

Music Alumni Society Lunch Gathering
On 28 June, members of the Music Alumni Society gathered for lunch as the President of the Music Society Dr. Joshua Wong returned to Hong Kong from the U.S. The atmosphere was convivial as members updated one another on their latest developments and shared reminiscences of university life. Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Melanie Lee took the opportunity to invite members to join the upcoming HKBU 60th anniversary activities. |
