Results Announcement of HKBU Century Club Sponsorship Scheme 2014
 
With the aim of rendering continuous contribution to the University’s betterment and sustainable development, HKBU Century Club (the Club) launched the Century Club Sponsorship Scheme (the Scheme) in 2008 to provide financial support to academic and student development projects.

Stepping into its 7th year, the Scheme was well-received by various academic departments and offices. The judging panel, which was chaired by the Club’s President and Patron Ms. Marianna Tsang Wai-chun, deliberated to grant a total of HK$257,420 this year to support the following 10 University projects.

1. Academy of Visual Arts – Creative Collaboration Workshops
2. Chaplain’s Office – Character Development Workshop 2015
3. Chaplain’s Office – Christian Leaders Training Camp 2015
4. Chaplain’s Office – Pick Up Services for Mainland Undergraduates 2014
5. Office of Student Affairs – Career Advisory Programme (CAP) 2014-15
6. Office of Student Affairs – Freshman Experience Programme – Lead-Serve Communities (FEP-LSC)
7. Department of Marketing – International Field Study for Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing
8. School of Chinese Medicine – 2014 Summit on Innovation Drug Discovery in Hong Kong – Charting the Course of Standardisation of Chinese Materia Medica
9. Faculty of Science – Young Scientist Challenge Cup
10. Faculty of Science – Whole Person Development Programme for Science Elites

With the sponsorship granted, the Club hopes that the projects would self-sustain the operation and delivery in the long run, achieve desired outcomes in promoting academic excellence and student development, as well as making contributions to the community and strengthening the goodwill of HKBU.
Century Club conducts judging on all submitted projects facilitated by Alumni Affairs Office.
