Dr. Cindy Chan is a Registered Clinical Psychologist of the Division of Clinical Psychology of Hong Kong Psychological Society (DCP, HKPS), who has provided services including psychological assessment and treatment for adolescents, adults and elderly for more 15 years. She is an Associate Fellow of HKPS and past Vice Chairperson of DCP, HKPS. She is currently a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Chan is trained intensively by Dr. Leslie Greenberg in Emotion-focused Therapy. She has also been intensively trained for conducting Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Chan is the visiting consultant in Matilda International Hospital. She worked with the Hospital Authority at the Castle Peak Hospital in Hong Kong from 2001 to 2008. Dr. Chan is currently the member of the Guardianship Board and the past member of the Post-release Supervision Board of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She regularly attended hearings for guardianship orders for mentally incapacitated persons and supervision orders for prisoners.
