HKBU Alumni Association of Australia held a gathering on 4 March which was attended by Mr. Sidney Cheng, Mr. Lawrence Chan, Mr. Peter Chu, Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Ho, Ms. Henie Tsang, Ms. Clara Cheng, Mr. Keith Chow, Mr. Bosco Lau and their family members.
Representatives of alumni associations of various Hong Kong universities in Australia also joined the function, including President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Alumni Association Australia Mr. Steve Lam and members Mr. John Leung, Mr. Stephen Lee, Mr. Kevin Lam and Mr. PH Fong; Vice President of Hong Kong University Alumni Association NSW Chapter Australia Mr. Cheng Chung Sze and Secretary Ms. Pauline Wong; and Hononary. President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Australia) Association Mr. Hung Lee, Committee Members Mr. Joseph Yu, Mr. Peter Shun, and member Mr. Danny Yu.
President Mr. Sidney Cheng thanked the alumni and guests of various alumni associations for joining the dinner. Vice-President Mr. Lawrence Chan, Committee Member Mr. Augustus Ho, member Mr. Bosco Lau and President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Alumni Association Australia Mr. Steve Lam also delivered their speeches.
The Association also held a Christmas gathering on 8 December 2015 which was attended by Mr. Sidney Cheng, Mr. Lawrence Chan, Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Ho, Ms. Henie Tsang, Mr. Keith Chow, Mr. Bosco Lau and their families.
