HKBUAA Alumni Association Annual General Meeting 2016 cum Spring Dinner

HKBU Alumni Association (HKBUAA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2016 cum Spring Dinner was held on 18 March at Lingnan Club, Central. Over 70 members attended. The monthly happy hour gathering was held right before the AGM. During the AGM, President of HKBUAA, alumnus Tyrone Siu reported various activities and achievements of HKBUAA in the past year and thanked the Management Committee for their support and hard work. He also shared his plans on the development of HKBUAA in the coming year. The meeting was followed by a spring dinner at the same venue. HKBUAA was honored to have the presence of President and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Roland Chin who gave a speech at the spring dinner. President Chin shared a good example of how Stanford University provides alumni resources to help young graduates. He hopes that HKBUAA would extend the support to graduates and provide more opportunities for them to network with senior alumni. At the dinner, alumnus Dr. Jacinto Tong shared his insights on the local property market. Every member of HKBUAA had an enjoyable evening and treasured the opportunity to meet with President Chin, Associate Vice-President Prof. Frank Fu and Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Melanie Lee on the occasion.
