Announcement of the Application Results of HKBU Century Club Sponsorship Scheme 2025

HKBU Century Club (the Club) launched its Sponsorship Scheme again this year, providing funding support for the University academic and student development projects.

Chaired by alumnus Philip Kan (Business Management), Vice-President of the Club, the judging panel thoroughly reviewed the applications and resolved to support the following eleven University projects:

  1. Faculty of Science – Science Festival 2026
  2. School of Chinese Medicine – The 10th School of Chinese Medicine Honorary Professorship Conferment Ceremony-cum-Seminar
  3. School of Continuing Education – Global Virtual Exchange Masterclass Series
  4. College of International Education – Value-Based Leadership for the Community Course (GE Capstone)
  5. Office of Student Affairs – Chiang Mai Service & Study Tour 2025-26
  6. Chaplain’s Office – Welcoming Project for Mainland Freshmen 
  7. Chaplain’s Office – T-JTA (Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis) Personality Test Workshop
  8. Chaplain’s Office – “Star Blossom” Mindful Crafting Workshop
  9. Chaplain’s Office – Community Ambassadors Programme
  10. Chaplain’s Office – Inner Relationship Focusing Experiential Workshop
  11. Chaplain’s Office – Skinner Releasing Technique (SRT) Course

The Scheme continues to receive overwhelming applications from various schools, faculties, academic departments and offices. With the support of these sponsorships, the Club is confident that these projects will achieve their goals of promoting academic excellence and enhancing student development, thereby enabling the University to make contributions to the community and strengthen its goodwill.
