Invitation to HKBU Homecoming 2023
#BrightenUp Your BU Memory Photo Contest
You are invited to participate in the #BrightenUp Your BU Memory Photo Contest by sharing with us your photo(s) taken at HKBU and the brightest memories they carry.
We are honoured to have Mr Kingsley Ng, Associate Professor of HKBU Academy of Visual Arts, and Dr Evelyn Kwok, Research Assistant Professor of HKBU Academy of Visual Arts, as the honorary advisors for the Contest. Kingsley and Evelyn will be selecting 3 photos conveying the “brightest” stories for reposting on the Alumni Affairs Office (AAO)’s social media platforms. Each reposted entry will win a HK$500 cash voucher. The results will be announced on AAO’s social media platforms in mid-November. Please stay tuned!
What to submit?
- Photo(s) taken at HKBU.
- Captions on the “brightest” memories or stories the photos carry.
How to submit?
- Follow @hkbualumni on Instagram
- Photo(s) and written captions should be sent through Instagram/Facebook direct message, or email to homecoming@hkbu.edu.hk on/before 6 October 2023.
- Photos in JPEG are accepted. File size should be at least 1MB. Multiple entries are welcome.

HKBU Alumni Soccer Seven
As one of the programmes of the HKBU Homecoming 2023, the HKBU Alumni Soccer Seven is now scheduled to be held on 25 November (Saturday) at the Joint Sports Centre. This year, three divisions are available, namely Open Division (no age limit), Advance Division (for teams with at least 5 members aged 40 or above on the pitch) and The Challenge Cup (for teams with all members aged 50 or above). Alumni are welcome to form teams and enjoy this sports activity with your buddies.
Registration is limited to 15 teams and will be given on a first-come-first-served basis. Please click here for the Registration Form, and the Alumni Affairs Office (AAO) would like to take the opportunity to thank the Organising Committee for setting the rules and regulations of the games.
