HKBU Alumni Association of Australia Holds a Dinner Gathering in Celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival

Members of HKBUAA of Australia and their families gather to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival.

On 26 August, HKBU Alumni Association of Australia held a dinner gathering in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival at Sunny Seafood Restaurant in North Sidney. The event was attended by alumni Sidney Cheng (Communication), President of the Association and his spouse, Lawrence Chan (Communication), Vice-President and his spouse, Professor Edward Fung and his spouse, Professor Yip Kam-shing and his spouse, and Hui Chun-keung (Corporate Governance and Directorship) and his spouse.

Alumni and retired/former academic and administrative staff of the University residing in Australia are welcome to join the Association and participate in its gatherings. BBQ Gathering 2022 of HKBU Alumni Association of British Columbia

Observing the tradition, HKBU Alumni Association of British Columbia held its annual BBQ gathering at Fraser River Park, Vancouver on 28 August. 30 alumni participated in the event, during which they thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing about the good old times at HKBU and catching up with each other.

Alumni in Singapore Participate in a Joint-University Annual Dinner in Celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival

A great dinner gathering from the six Hong Kong universities’ alumni associations in Singapore.

On 24 September, 10 alumni residing in Singapore participated in a joint-university annual dinner at Fu Lin Men Chinese Restaurant in the Singapore Recreation Club in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The event was jointly organised by six Hong Kong universities’ alumni associations in Singapore.

Dr Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs of HKBU, pre-recorded a video to convey her greetings to the dinner participants. In the video, she provided an update on the recent developments and the latest achievements of HKBU. All HKBU alumni enjoyed a wonderful evening catching up with each other.
