School of Chinese Medicine Spring Festival Tea Reception: Alumni Unite to Celebrate the Chinese New Year

The officiating guests, University management, representatives from the Chinese medicine hospital, and the School’s management give a toast.

The School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) hosted a Spring Festival Tea Reception on HKBU campus on 8 March, bringing together over 300 guests. 

Distinguished guests including Professor Martin Wong, Provost; Professor Lyu Aiping, Vice President (Research and Development) cum Dean of Graduate School; Alumnus Dr Vincent Chung Chi-ho (Chinese Medicine), Commissioner for Chinese Medicine Development of the Health Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China; Mr Wong Kwai-huen, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK); Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President (Clinical Chinese Medicine) of HKBU and Hospital Chief Executive of CMHHK and Professor Li Min, Dean of Chinese Medicine. The event also was welcomed government officials, hospital management, industry leaders, university representatives, staff, students, and alumni.

All participants enjoyed an afternoon of networking and festive celebration, highlighted by a captivating lion dance performance.
