Faculty of Science and Alumni Affairs Office Jointly Present a Talk – Generative AI for Healthcare and Beyond

The Alumni Affairs Office (AAO) joins hands with the Faculty of Science to present a talk on 10 April at the HKBU campus, featuring Professor William Cheung, Associate Vice-President (Transdisciplinary Education), Professor in Computer Science and Director of Centre of Health Informatics of HKBU as the keynote speaker. Themed “Generative AI for Healthcare and Beyond”, the talk will provide a gentle introduction to Generative AI (GenAI) and cover some of the recent work on developing GenAI solutions for healthcare. The talk will then be followed by a panel discussion on the future trend of GenAI where alumnus Chan Ka-ho (Computer Science), Head of Analytic Platform of HSBC and alumnus Dr Charles Cheung (Applied and Computational Mathematics; Mathematics), Senior Data Scientist and Deputy Director of NVIDIA AI Technology Center HK, will be the panelists.
