HKBU Alumni Runner Participates in the Glorious Ceremony for the 13th Asia Pacific Business Schools Desert Adventure and the Launch Ceremony for the 14th Asia Pacific Business Schools Desert Adventure
On 14 December 2024, representatives of HKBU Alumni Runner attended the Glorious Ceremony for the 13th Asia Pacific Business Schools Desert Adventure and the Launch Ceremony for the 14th Asia Pacific Business Schools Desert Adventure. The HKBU team members received multiple awards, which was very encouraging. The launch ceremony was conducted in a relay format, symbolising the handover to new team members and continuation of the spirit of unity, marking the beginning of their desert journey to be held in May this year.

HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai Welcomes Visiting Students from HKBU Career Exploration Trip
From 6 to 10 January, the HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai (HKBUSHAA), with the support from United Front Work Department of the Putuo District in Shanghai, received around 20 students from the Shanghai Career Exploration Trip arranged by HKBU’s Career Centre.
The tour visited several renowned companies in Shanghai. In addition to the visits, alumnus Gilman Too (Communication), Honorary President of the HKBUSHAA, shared his insights on entrepreneurship and employment in Shanghai with the visiting students. This provided them with a deeper understanding of the job market and career opportunities in Shanghai.
HKBU Alumni Association of Ontario Hosts an Online Seminar and Spring Gathering

HKBU Alumni Association of Ontario (HKBUAAO) held an online seminar on 27 January regarding Canadian tax filing. Chartered Accountant Mr. Kenny Wan was invited to explain the new tax system in Canada and provide information on how better prepare for retirement. The seminar attracted over 60 alumni and their friends and family. Attending alumni expressed their gratitude to the HKBUAAO for organising this seminar.
To celebrate the Year of the Snake, HKBUAAO also organised a spring gathering at the end of February, attracting nearly 30 alumni graduated in different years and across different disciplines. At the event, alumni enjoyed a heartwarming reunion filled with laughter and sharing, relishing the opportunity to reconnect.
