HKBU Communication Alumni Association Pays a Visit to UIC Campus in Zhuhai

Following the success of the First and Second Worldwide HKBU Communication Alumni Conference conducted on HKBU campus in the past two years, the HKBU Communication Alumni Association is planning to organise another international conference in fall this year in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), with a view to engaging with more communication alumni in the GBA. On 7 March, alumnus Lo Bing-chung (Communication), President of the HKBU Communication Alumni Association, led the Executive Committee members of the Association to pay a visit to Beijing Normal University-HKBU United International College (UIC) in Zhuhai.

Representatives of UIC welcomed the committee members of the Association and guided them to tour around the Zhuhai campus. Committee members of the Association found the visit a fruitful one as it facilitated their planning for organising the Conference in the GBA, and they looked forward to collaborating with UIC.

Baptist Chemists Holds the “Spring Festival Celebration” Gathering on HKBU Campus

Baptist Chemists organised the ”Spring Festival Celebration” gathering on 9 March, transforming the common room on Ho Sin Hang Campus into a hub of festivity featuring a buffet, games and a lucky draw. The event brought together 47 participants, including alumni, students, current and retired faculty members to build lasting connections and create cherished memories.

Spring Festival Celebration provides a good opportunity for the alumni and students to get together.

Alumnus Stephen Yung was elected as President of SBAA in the new term. Stephen was honoured to be the new President and expressed his gratitude to alumnus Marcus Yuen, former President of SBAA, for his leadership over the past three years. Stephen pledged to work closely with members of the Executive Committee to lead the Association to scale new heights.

HKBU MBA Alumni Association Holds Annual General Meeting 2023

HKBU MBA Alumni Association held its Annual General Meeting on 8 March which was attended by over 20 members and guests including alumni Fan Jiaqi and Xiao Yingdan, Co-Chairman and Executive Chairwoman respectively of the HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association. At the AGM, Chairman of the Association alumnus Andrew Yung reviewed the events participated and organised by the Association in the past year. Looking ahead, the Association will continue to organise different types of events to connect alumni.
