Alumna Dr Marianna Tsang (Secretarial Management), President and Patron of HKBU Century Club, has established a connection with the Cambodia Kurmul International School (KIS) in Cambodia to provide service-learning opportunities for HKBU students. From 2 to 6 January, she accompanied around 20 HKBU students in a service-learning trip to Cambodia, in which various cultural exchange activities and workshops were organised by HKBU students for students from KIS. HKBU students were able to learn teamwork and leadership skills through these experiences, and gained an understanding of Cambodia’s history and culture through the trip.
