HKBU Century Club Sponsors the Speaking for Confidence Workshop

HKBU Century Club sponsored the Speaking for Confidence Workshop, which was organised by the Leadership Qualities Centre of the Office of Student Affairs of HKBU. On 16 February, alumna Dr Helen Kwok (Communication), Secretary of the HKBU Century Club, attended one of the online seminars as the guest of honour.

The Workshop aims at providing a series of presentation training and practice experience for HKBU students, to help sharpen their communication and presentation skills. It is hoped that after the training, students will be able to enhance their competitiveness and employability in the job market. Students achieving outstanding results in the Workshop will be invited to serve as masters of ceremonies in University functions. At the seminar titled “Presentation for Impacts”, Mr Calvin Lam, a speaking specialist, was invited to share with students tips on presentation, including social etiquette, proper attire, presentable styling, and skills on how to make an impressive presentation as well as general techniques of presentation at different occasions. The seminar attracted over 130 students.
