The BUddy Post – HKBU Alumni Affairs Office

The School of Business and the School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA) co-organised the HKBU Business Alumni Gathering 2025 on 25 April. The reunion brought together over 150 alumni, faculty members and students. The event was graced by the presence of Mr Kevin Liem, Treasurer of the Council and the Court; alumnus Regan Ho (Accountancy), HKBU Council Member; Professor Martin Wong, Provost; Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning); Ms Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Zhang Han, Dean of School of Business and Mr Ryan Man, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) and Director of the BBA (Hons) Programme of School of Business. 

SBAA representatives, including alumni Stephen Yung (Business Administration), President of SBAA; Professor Bernard Wu (Accounting), Chairman of SBAA; Franklin Fong (Business Administration), Chairman of SBAA; and Ivy Ku (Business Administration), Chairman of SBAA, attended the event to express their support for the School.

Professor Zhang delivered an uplifting speech and shared his vision with the alumni on scaling new heights for the School of Business. All participants appreciated his message. 

Dr Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs, also attended the gathering to connect and engage with alumni. All participants enjoyed the evening and cherished the opportunity to reconnect with each other. The event ended in a joyful atmosphere.
