HKBU Alumni Runner Successfully Completes the 13th Asia-Pacific Business Schools Desert Adventure
Convened by the HKBU Alumni Runner, a team of the HKBU Master of Business Administration (MBA), comprising alumni and students, participated in the 13th Asia-Pacific Business Schools Desert Adventure held at the Tengger Desert of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 1 to 4 May. The team demonstrated perseverance by pushing theirs limits and successfully completing the Adventure.
Prior to the Adventure, a training and a kick-off ceremony were held in Zhuhai on 5-6 April. During the two-day training, team members gave their best to prepare for the Adventure. At the kick-off ceremony, alumnus Fan Jiaqi (Business Administration), Co-Chairman of HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association, was invited as a special guest to join alumnus Ye Long (Business Administration), Convenor of HKBU Alumni Runner, to cheer for the members of the Desert Adventure.
HKBU Alumni Runner Joins the 8th Asia Pacific Business Schools Blue Ice Hiking Adventure
Members of the HKBU Alumni Runner gathered in Lake Baikal of Russia and participated in the 8th Asia Pacific Business Schools Blue Ice Hiking Adventure on 2-6 March. During the competition, the team members showcased their unwavering perseverance in spite of the extreme environment and physical fatigue. All of them were able to complete the challenge and won a prize in the adventure.

HKBU Alumni Association of Australia Holds a Lunch Gathering Joined by Alumni from the Universities in Hong Kong
HKBU Alumni Association of Australia (HKBUAAA) organised a lunch gathering in celebration of the 68th Anniversary of HKBU at Emperor’s Garden Restaurant, Sydney on 20 March. The event brought alumni from four universities in Hong Kong together and was graced by the presence of Mr Timothy Chau, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Sydney (HKETO). Under the theme of Music in Live, tutors of CCA New South Wales (CCA NSW) Community Hub were invited to perform classic Hong Kong pop songs. The participants immersed themselves in the lovely music, and joyfully shared their recent happenings.
