HKBU Alumni Association President and Past Presidents Organise a Dinner in Celebration of Accolades of Alumnus Stephen Yau

Alumnus Stephen Yau (Social Work), Chief Executive of International Social Service Hong Kong Branch, Past President (1983-1986) of Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association (HKBUAA) and member of the Alumni Committee of HKBU Foundation, was recently awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the HKSAR Government. He has also been appointed an ex-officio member (Social Welfare) of the HKSAR 2021 Election Committee. In this regard, alumnus Tyrone Siu (History), President of HKBUAA, organised a dinner gathering together with several Past Presidents on 11 October, to celebrate the accolades received by alumnus Yau. A number of Past Presidents of HKBUAA, Alumni Committee members of HKBU Foundation and HKBU Century Club members attended the dinner. Dr Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs, also attended the dinner gathering, during which she conveyed her hearty congratulations to alumnus Yau in person.

Past Presidents of HKBUAA maintain a strong bonding among themselves, a number of them attend the dinner in celebration of the honour received by alumnus Stephen Yau.
