Faculty of Science Hosts a Spring Gathering to Celebrate Year of the Horse
The Faculty of Science organises its Spring Gathering with alumni to celebrate the Year of the Horse.
On 14 March, the Faculty of Science hosted a Spring Gathering on campus in celebration of the Year of the Horse. The event attracted over 200 alumni, staff, students, distinguished guests and friends of the Faculty.
The event was honoured by the attendance of senior management from the University including Professor Lyu Aiping, Vice-President (Research and Development) cum Dean of Graduate School; Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning); Professor Terence Lau, Interim Chief Innovation Officer; Professor Liu Jiming, Associate Provost and Professor William Cheung, Associate Vice-President (Transdisciplinary Education).
Professor Michael Ng, Dean of Science, warmly welcomed all participants on behalf of the Faculty of Science in his opening remarks. He shared the Faculty’s latest developments. Participants enjoyed mingling with one another while being treated to a captivating martial arts performance and an exciting lucky draw.
Dr Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs, who also attended and engaged with alumni and strengthening connections within the community. All alumni and guests had a joyous time.
