The University Holds a Luncheon in Honour of the Eighth Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient Alumnus Cheng Tan-shui

The University held a luncheon on 16 February at HKBU Lounge to honour the Award recipient of the Eighth Distinguished Alumni Award, alumnus Cheng Tan-shui (Communication), who was unable to attend the Award Presentation Ceremony in person in August 2022.  Hosted by Dr Clement Chen, Chairman of the Council and the Court cum Chairman of the Selection Committee of the Award, the luncheon was attended by members of the Selection Committee, including Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor; Dr Carrie Willis, Former Executive Director of the Vocational Training Council; Miss Janet Wong, Former Commissioner for Innovation and Technology of the HKSAR Government, Ms Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; and Dr Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs cum Secretary of the Selection Committee of the Award.

At the luncheon, Chairman Chen and President Wai conveyed their heartfelt congratulations and presented the Award trophy to alumnus Cheng. Alumnus Cheng also shared with the guests his feelings for being awarded and his recent happenings.
