During the sharing, alumnus Prof Mao shared his insights on the challenges and opportunities of modernisation of Chinese Opera and modern drama, while students also grasped the opportunity to interact with Prof Mao.
Dr Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs, and her team attended the sharing event to show support for alumnus Prof Mao whom the Alumni Affairs Office has established a long-standing relationship with.
Led by Founding President alumnus Dr Vincent Ho (Communication), several representatives of the HKBU Alumni Association of the Greater Bay Area (GBAAA) provided support for the event organisation, attended the sharing and engaged in a chit-chat with Prof Mao on stage. The Association also arranged live broadcast to let alumni in the GBA view Prof Mao’s sharing in real time.
