Alumnus Prof. William Leung Re-appointed as Chairman of Estate Agents Authority
Alumnus Prof. William Leung (English Language & Literature) was re-appointed as the Chairman of the Estate Agents Authority (EAA) for a term of two years with effect from 1 November 2019. EAA’s principal functions are to regulate the practice of estate agency in Hong Kong, promote integrity and competence within the industry, and facilitate training for estate agency practitioners to enhance their standards and status. Alumnus Prof. Chau Kam-Tim Honoured “Hall of Fame” by Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)
On 24 October, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand conferred AIT Hall of Fame on alumnus Prof. Chau Kam-Tim (Civil Engineering) in recognition of his remarkable contribution to the AIT and society at large. Alumnus Prof. Chau is Chair Professor of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Congratulations to alumnus Prof. Chau! |

Alumna Vikey Chen Receives the 2018 Housewares Design Awards
Alumna Vikey Chen (Business Administration) earlier invented an adjustable container, and had the product design patented. She also founded the “Botto Design” brand name for this product. The adjustable container was also named the “Best in category" in Countertop Kitchenware in 2018 Housewares Design Awards. Now, the adjustable container is on the market in 32 countries.
